Our Mission
Poor lifestyle choices have a massive effect upon health. It is our mission
to increase awareness of lifestyle-related health issues, to make good
lifestyle choices easier to make, and to act as advocates for healthy food
and physical activity. We provide a range of practical and innovative
solutions for schools, parents, young people and communities. We believe in
empowering children and parents so that they can make informed choices about
their health, and in facilitating healthy options in all Irish communities.
Our Philosophy
We believe in empowering people to make healthy choices both by education and by
the facilitation of healthy options. We
aim to make people more aware of targeted marketing and to help people to make
considered choices about their lives.
We believe that a culture of passivity is the greatest danger facing
Ireland today. The RedBranch programme
empowers communities by the provision of health-related educational material, at
an appropriate level that individuals can relate to.
This is supported by practical advice, behavioural lifestyle cues and
improved access to healthier choices. We
intend to create a lifestyle revolution in Ireland.
