Co-Dex Kids
Co-Dex Kids is an innovative
physical education programme for Irish children aged 3 – 11 years old. The
programme helps children to achieve their physical potential, with a strong
emphasis on fun. The programme is run by a dedicated team of PE
professionals.
The Co-Dex programme focuses on developing children’s athletic ability
through the learning of the ABC’s of sport in an environment of positive
teaching and creative teaching styles. The programme develops motor skills
through ball work, sports skills, gymnastics and “play”. These are all
taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. Children are encouraged to
develop at their own pace, building their self esteem and confidence. Co-Dex
Kids can help to develop a child’s sporting ability in a fun, challenging
yet safe environment.
Co-Dex Kids have been involved with:
David Lloyd Riverview Lesiure Centre
Kildare Place School, Rathmines
St Laurence O'Tooles School, Northwall
Froebel College
Downs Syndrome Leinster
Special Olympics Ireland
YMCA Cricket Club
Ballyboden GAA Club
Co-Dex Kids can help to bring a new dimension to school PE sessions.

Learning basic and advanced motor skills can help children to enjoy sport.
Regular physical activity is essential for
good health. Worryingly, most Irish children do not get enough exercise.
Many studies also link regular physical activity with improved academic
grades. |
